Death Over Dinner

Thursday, January 16, 2025 16 Tevet 5785

7:00 PM - 9:00 PMKol Ami

The way we die - end of life decisions, death rituals, what happens after we die - is probably the most important conversation Americans aren’t having. Talking about death not only better prepares us for life’s most challenging moments, but also helps us articulate and affirm who we are and what we ultimately care about. Together, we will explore what Jewish tradition teaches about death, including its strong focus on appreciating life. Join your Kol Ami clergy for warm connection, a good meal, and this important conversation.

Participants only need to attend one session; sessions are stand-alone, with the same discussion covered.

The event (including dinner) is free, and if you feel so inspired, we welcome donations to offset costs.

WE HAVE REACHED CAPACITY ON THIS SESSION.

IF YOU'RE STILL INTERESTED IN ATTENDING A DEATH OVER DINNER, PLEASE CONTACT RABBI FISHER OR LET THE MAIN OFFICE KNOW.
